AIM is working with a nonprofit community development corporation (CDC) to create a development plan for the construction of a community facility on a vacant land parcel owned by the CDC. The site is located adjacent to over 700 units of public housing which recently received a HUD CHOICE Planning Grant. The proposed community facility is expected to ensure that neighborhood residents are provided with services and options throughout the neighborhood transformation process and generate income to support the CDC’s programming. AIM’s scope of work included project design, feasibility and market studies, underwriting, and will include project management through design, construction and completion.
